Who am I?

Hello, hello! I’m Kendra. I am a 24 year old single mom to a 4 year old boy named Aiden. I hail from a state full of southern hospitality, iced cold sweet tea, and people who say ya’ll way more often than necessary. I work full-time as a graphic artist/web designer for a local web development company and as a freelance blog designer in my spare time. I have taught myself everything I know and I’ve never had any sort of formal training. I spent a whopping 3 months at university with the intentions of becoming a Nurse Anesthetist. That was 7 years ago. Obviously, it did not work out.
I’ve been blogging since I was 12 and have had at least 12 different blogs so if I look familiar, that’s why. I started out on LiveJournal but since I don’t want to embarrass myself in front of the people who don’t know me from there, we’ll just keep those old blogs a secret.
I have a four year old son named Aiden. He was born in September 2007 and has been my pride and joy ever since. He is full of life and energy (No, really. That kid would never sleep if I didn’t make him). I like to think he has my personality, which isn’t really a surprise since he’s been, for the most part, raised solely by me. I’ve taught him how to clean and bake cupcakes so he’s going to make some girl very happy one of these days!

I also have an amazing boyfriend (*cringe* – I hate that word) of a year & a half. He’s pretty cute and I love him a lot! We started dating August 2010 and have pretty much been inseparable ever since 🙂
About the blog
So, what am I doing here wasting Internet space? Well, this blog is about my life, graphic/web design, and all sorts of inspiration. I often post freebies for you all to use and enjoy. Some are for personal use only and others can be used for personal and commercial use so just be sure to take note of that. I like to think of my blog as my own little creative outlet.
If you’re looking for a custom blog design, check out some of my work here or visit my blog design website, POXXIE for pricing and more information.
